Microsoft has discovered a programming error that allows hackers to steal personal data or even take control of your computer!

Computer giant has issued an  "critical" security alert for the 900 million people using Internet Explorer.

The error is so severe that affects virtually every user of Internet Explorer.

The problem appears because of the way Internet Explorer has been programmed to treat certain web pages. More specifically, Internet Explorer is the only type that supports MHTML files, ones that cause the problem.

Firefox, Google Chrome or Apple's Safari on the Macintosh do not have this problem.

This, on the other hand, means that any user of Windows XP (SP3), Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 (R2) may be affected.

The company has so far failed to completely remove the problem, so he built an application, "dressing" to fix it. Until the permanent representatives of the company find a solution to the problem, all Windows users, especially those who surf the Net with Internet Explorer, have received warnings and were advised to download and install the application.

Microsoft has described the situation as a "serious" and said that until now, nobody knows any hacker who has played this card.

"A possible offender information could build a HTML link that would trigger a script viruses and then somehow convince the user to access it. When the targeted person can click on the link, the script will start and will run throughout the session on Internet Explorer. A script may also collect personal user data, displayed by web browser, or might affect its Internet browsing program, "said Microsoft spokeswoman, Angela Gunn.
